Load. Touch. Stack.

1. Load: Open the Lotus and place one or two decks of standard poker-sized cards in the center tray.
2. Touch: Tap the touch sensor. An infrared sensor reads whether you loaded one deck or two, and the Lotus begins separating cards one-by-one into two piles using its inverse riffle mechanism.
3. Stack: Pick up the two piles and stack them together. Load the deck again for another pass. Lotus recommends about three passes for casual home play. A pass takes about five seconds, with extra time to restack and reload.

What changed from V1?
Two things. The deck-seating magnet that could weaken with heavy use on some early V1 units is redesigned, and sensing is now touch plus IR for a cleaner start. Same inverse-riffle mix, same two-deck capacity, same fold-shut design.

Does the Lotus Shuffler damage cards?
Lotus is designed to limit wear. Soft rollers separate cards into two piles through an inverse-riffle mechanism. Any powered shuffler can wear cards, especially if they are damaged or feed poorly. Use compatible cards and follow the care instructions.

How many times should I shuffle?
Lotus recommends about three passes for casual home play. Each pass takes about five seconds, plus time to restack and reload. Seven passes take about 35 seconds of machine time before handling time.

Does it work with UNO cards?
Lotus lists standard 112-card UNO and 108-card Phase 10 decks as compatible. Check special editions separately because size and finish can vary. Standard Skip-Bo cards fit, but its 162-card deck needs two loads.

How loud is it?
The V2 runs quiet enough to talk over. You will hear the motor and cards during each pass.
